The Tomb of the King of Sulu is one of China's most extraordinary historical sites — the only royal tomb of a foreign monarch on Chinese soil. In 1417, King Paduka Pahala of Sulu (present-day Philippines) visited the Ming court and died of illness in Dezhou on his return journey. The Ming Emperor ordered a grand tomb built for him, and his descendants settled in Dezhou, with their descendants still living here today. The site includes the tomb mound, a memorial hall, and a mosque.

This cultural park honors Dong Zhongshu (179-104 BC), the renowned Han Dynasty philosopher and statesman who established Confucianism as the official state ideology of China. Born in what is now Dezhou, Dong's theories shaped Chinese governance and education for over two millennia. The park features traditional Chinese architecture, exhibition halls on Confucian philosophy, a grand statue of Dong Zhongshu, and serene gardens ideal for quiet contemplation.

Jianhe Wetland is an ecological restoration project along the Jian River, transforming former farmland into a thriving wetland ecosystem. The park features wooden walkways threading through reed marshes, lotus ponds, and wildflower meadows. It is a popular spot for birdwatching, photography, and leisurely walks. The wetland plays an important role in water purification and flood control for the region.

Spring City Oulebao is a large-scale theme park and resort complex located in Dezhou's Qihe County, featuring a European-style castle-themed amusement park, a water park, and a marine world. The park offers roller coasters, water slides, dolphin shows, and family-friendly attractions. It is one of the largest amusement parks in northern China and a major draw for families.

This forest park preserves the former course of the Yellow River, which shifted its channel centuries ago. The park covers over 10,000 acres of woodlands, sand dunes, and wetlands, creating a unique landscape where ancient riverbeds have transformed into lush forests. Walking and cycling trails wind through the area, and there are picnic spots, bird hides, and an elevated walkway for treetop views.
