A Yuan Dynasty Taoist temple (1240s AD) famous for its spectacular murals. The murals cover over 1,000 square meters depicting Taoist deities and celestial processions in vivid detail. The entire complex was relocated 7km in 1956 to protect it from flooding by the Sanmenxia Dam.

The largest and most revered Guan Yu temple in China, covering 18,500 square meters. Built in 589 AD and expanded over dynasties, it features grand halls, a 14-meter-high statue of Guan Yu, and ancient cypress trees.

One of China's three major salt lakes, known for its therapeutic mineral mud and high salinity. The lake shimmers in various colors — red in summer, green in spring — due to algae and mineral content. Visitors can float effortlessly like in the Dead Sea.

The legendary tower made famous by Tang Dynasty poet Wang Zhihuan's verse: "The sun beyond the mountain glows; the Yellow River seaward flows. To enlarge your view a thousand mile, ascend another flight of stairs." The current tower was rebuilt in 1961.

A Buddhist temple famous as the setting of the classic Chinese love story Romance of the Western Chamber. The temple features the Yingying Pagoda, built in 907 AD, which can be struck to produce a sound.

Four iron oxen cast in the Tang Dynasty (724 AD) to anchor the Pujin Bridge across the Yellow River. Each ox weighs 50-70 tons and stands on a lotus pedestal, demonstrating Tang Dynasty metallurgy.
